About The Position

Safely unloads and loads finished goods at the main facility or remote warehouses. This is a night shift role, with hours from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The position handles receiving, storing, moving, picking, and shipping inventory; recording transactions in the Jazz computer system; maintaining inventory accuracy and product labeling; and keeping the warehouse clean and compliant with company, customer, and regulatory standards. The operator must perform all duties safely, efficiently, and cooperatively, report problems promptly to the Supervisor/Warehouse Manager, and complete other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Forklift certification.
• Ability to safely change a forklift battery or LP tank daily.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug, background, and criminal screenings.

Responsibilities

• Receive and put away raw materials, ingredients, and packaging from suppliers and other JP inventory locations.
• Verify product receipts against supplier documents to ensure accurate billing.
• Inspect incoming ingredients and reject damaged products.
• Enter inventory transactions accurately and promptly in the Jazz computer system, including receipts, warehouse moves, and adjustments.
• Rotate warehouse stock to ensure proper FIFO usage.
• Print and apply container labels and inspect items to ensure they are properly labeled.
• Prepare for and participate in physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Select customer orders for shipment and store finished goods in the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Prepare bills of lading and other shipping documents, and maintain shipping logs.
• Sanitize and maintain the warehouse to meet company, customer, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and complete receiving paperwork and store goods in designated locations.
• Perform cross-functional activities in receiving, picking, and shipping.
• Perform work safely, efficiently, and cooperatively, and maintain a clean work area.
• Report problems immediately to the Supervisor/Warehouse Manager.
• Safely change the forklift battery or LP tank daily.
• Perform other assigned work duties.
