About The Position

California Environmental Voters Education Fund is hiring Youth Ambassadors for its nine-month 2027 cohort program, running from January 2027 through September 2027. Participants learn grassroots organizing, public speaking, and advocacy while conducting community education and outreach. The position is part-time and non-exempt, typically requiring 10 to 12 hours per week, with occasional weeks of up to 15 hours. It is mostly remote, with an in-person regional cohort meeting at least once a month and an in-person work requirement at least once every four weeks. Ambassadors must be based in one of the specified California regions. The role may have an opportunity to extend into a two-year program after the initial term.
