The Ambassador 1 provides a variety of basic entry-level clerical support duties such as; receiving visitors, answering and directing telephone calls, maintaining department files, processing mail, and providing factual information at a reception counter or over the telephone. The three levels of this job family are distinguished by the skills and experience required to perform the accountabilities, the complexity of problems solved as part of the job and the assigned level of responsibility.
