The role is located at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA.

Requirements

  • Completion of four years of high school plus additional courses or training or the equivalent knowledge or experience.
  • Minimum of one-year food service experience required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or provide a signed statement certifying exemption for medical or personal reasons once hired.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of duties in support of the Food & Nutrition Department.
  • Ensure customer and patient satisfaction.
  • Obtain patient meal selections as close to mealtime as possible.
  • Perform data entry of patient food preferences and allergies into the Patient Services Software Platform.
  • Screen patients for nutritional risk.
  • Follow cash-handling practices/procedures.
  • Set up cafeteria stations.
  • Work retail assignments as directed to meet the needs of cafeteria customers, including use of the retail sales system.
