About The Position

As an Amazon Catalog Operations Lead, you will be responsible for taking ownership of catalog workflows, reporting, and data processes for large-scale Amazon apparel catalogs. This is not a basic data entry role; you will focus on executing, quality-assuring, and improving structured backend operations to ensure data accuracy and seamless listing functionality.

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft 365 (ability to build/validate pivot tables and manage large, messy datasets is required).
  • Fluent in English with excellent written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow structured workflows and adapt to increasing ownership over time.
  • Available for part-time work (15-20 hours per week to start, with potential to increase).
  • Willing to work on a schedule requiring a 2-3 hour overlap with US Pacific Time between 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (at least 4 days per week).
  • Main Device: Processor: Intel Core i3 / Ryzen 3 (5th Gen or higher) or AMD equivalent. RAM: 8 GB or higher. Storage: Minimum of 112 GB. Internet Speed: At least 20 Mbps for both download and upload speeds.
  • Backup Device: Processor: Intel Core i3 / Ryzen 3 (5th Gen or higher) or AMD equivalent. RAM: Minimum 4 GB. Storage: Minimum of 112 GB. Internet Speed: At least 10 Mbps for both download and upload speeds.
  • The use of mobile phones or tablets is not accepted for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central is highly preferred.
  • Background handling apparel or footwear catalogs (specifically managing complex size/color variations) is a major plus.
  • Familiarity with Asana or similar project management tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Populate and manage Amazon Vendor Central item setup templates and execute bulk catalog updates via flat files.
  • Investigate and resolve complex catalog issues, including fixing variation errors, missing attributes, and suppressed items.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify inconsistencies, build and validate pivot-based reporting, and maintain internal tracking tools.
  • Monitor and resolve Vendor Central alerts, managing support cases to fix backend discrepancies.
  • Execute strict QA and validation of all data outputs before submission to maintain flawless catalog integrity.
  • Troubleshoot data workflows, help document standard operating procedures (SOPs), and eventually review or delegate tasks to support team members.
