About The Position

The Restaurant Server is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service to guests. This position ensures accurate order taking, timely food and beverage delivery, and adherence to established service standards while creating a welcoming and memorable atmosphere.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
Knowledge of food and beverage service standards preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Basic math, cash-handling, and POS system skills
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Food Handler and Alcohol Service certifications as required by local regulations

Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival
Present menus, explain menu items, specials, and promotions
Make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverage offerings
Provide personalized, attentive service throughout the dining experience
Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
Address guest concerns professionally and notify management when necessary
Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
Serve food and beverages according to established service standards
Ensure orders are prepared and delivered correctly and in a timely manner
Monitor guest satisfaction and check back regularly during service
Upsell menu items, beverages, desserts, and specialty offerings
Deliver checks and process payments accurately
Comply with all alcohol service regulations and responsible beverage service practices
Set up dining areas, tables, and service stations before service periods.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned stations and dining areas
Complete side work, opening duties, and closing responsibilities
Assist with resetting and preparing tables for incoming guests
Maintain knowledge of menu changes, daily specials, and restaurant promotions
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies
Support team members and assist other restaurant areas as needed
