About The Position

Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking experienced Level III caregivers throughout Napa and Solano County. This role is ideal for caregivers who are confident providing hands-on personal care and supporting clients with more involved daily needs. The caregiver will provide attentive care that helps seniors feel safe, comfortable, and respected at home. Along with personal care and mobility assistance, you’ll prepare meals, offer medication reminders according to the care plan, assist with light housekeeping, and provide companionship. We value caregivers who notice what needs attention, offer choices, encourage participation, and take initiative while respecting each client’s preferences.

Requirements

• Hands-on personal care experience.
• Safe mobility and transfer skills.
• Dementia care skills.
• Sound observation and communication skills.
• Strong documentation habits.
• Dependability: Consistent availability, punctuality, and clear communication with the scheduling team.
• A valid driver’s license.
• A registered, insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care: Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care while protecting each client’s dignity.
• Assist with safe mobility and transfer skills using equipment like gait belts and Hoyer lifts, following the care plan and required training.
• Provide dementia care with patience, redirection, and a calm approach.
• Observe and communicate changes in a client’s condition, promptly reporting concerns to the office.
• Maintain accurate documentation of task completion and detailed shift notes.
• Prepare meals.
• Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
• Assist with light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship.
