About The Position

AM Line Cook – Tago Pegaso (Texas) Tago Pegaso is a vibrant, casual concept bringing bold flavors, high-energy service, and a welcoming atmosphere to our guests. We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Full Time AM Line Cook to join our kitchen team and help set the tone for a successful day of service. What You’ll Do: Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes, prep lists, and food safety standards Set up and stock your station for morning and early service, ensuring readiness for the day Assist with daily prep production (sauces, proteins, produce, etc.) to support all shifts Label, date, and properly rotate all food items (FIFO standards) Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation throughout your shift Follow opening procedures and communicate any maintenance or product needs to management Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Uphold all company policies, procedures, and food safety guidelines Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented culture Why Join Tago Pegaso: Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid sick leave, birthday pay, and parental leave Employee dining discounts Opportunities for growth within the Richard Sandoval Hospitality group A supportive, inclusive, and team-driven environment Requirements What We’re Looking For: 1–2+ years of kitchen experience preferred (prep or line experience) Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen safety Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills Spanish language skills are a plus Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a hot kitchen environment Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Salary Description $18 - $20 / Hour

Requirements

1–2+ years of kitchen experience preferred (prep or line experience)
Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen safety
