This is a working role that coordinates and assists the Manager in the Food Safety Quality (FSQ) department. The position performs and completes tasks associated with equipment cleaners, manages plant documentation systems (including control of quality system documents), and serves as a SQF practitioner. It supports plant internal audits, inspections, environmental microbiological testing, and corrective/preventive action programs. The role investigates plant nonconforming product incidents and consumer complaints, conducts root cause analysis, and leads corrective action efforts. The Lead supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in sanitation of equipment and the facility.
