This is a working role that coordinates and assists the Manager in the Food Safety Quality (FSQ) department. The position performs and completes tasks associated with equipment cleaners. The role manages the plant documentation systems, which include the control of quality system documents and serves as a SQF practitioner (policies, procedures, work instructions, recordkeeping). It supports the plant internal audit, inspection, environmental microbiological testing, and corrective/preventive action programs. The role investigates plant nonconforming product incidents and consumer complaints, conducts root cause analysis and leads corrective action(s) efforts. The Lead supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in sanitation of equipment and the facility. Principle accountabilities include 75% managing and leading FSQ department responsibilities and 25% providing support for EMP and Sensory programs.
