About The Position

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Aluminum Welders for projects located in or around Mount Vernon, WA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $40/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of aluminum welding and fabrication experience
Proficiency with TIG welding aluminum
Ability to perform high-quality fillet welds in all positions
Ability to lead and mentor apprentices when needed
Ability to read, interpret, and communicate blueprints and drawings
Strong understanding of weld repair techniques
Strong mathematical and measuring skills
Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
Good communication and teamwork skills
Strong work ethic and willingness to continue learning and developing trade skills
Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to quality workmanship

Nice To Haves

Experience with aluminum boat manufacturing or marine fabrication preferred

Responsibilities

Weld and fabricate aluminum components used in boat manufacturing
Perform MIG (GMAW) and TIG welding on aluminum materials
Build, fit, and assemble aluminum structures and components according to specifications
Perform fillet welds in all positions with minimal rework
Complete external seam welds in all positions
Perform weld repairs and corrective welding procedures
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication documents
Perform oscillated and stringer fillet welds and butt welds as directed
Minimize material shrinkage and distortion during the weld-out process
Assist with quality control and ensure finished products meet company standards
Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
