About The Position

This role is responsible for assembling doors, frames, and fixed frames based on provided designs and stock using drills and other tools. The fabricator will attach hardware and perform lock preparations as appropriate. A key aspect of the role is maintaining a neat, safe, and clean work area, including cleaning tools and equipment at the end of each day. The position requires the ability to read a tape measure, inspect products for abnormalities, and notify a supervisor of any issues. Employees must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas as needed, working as part of a team. Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies, procedures, company rules, and policies are essential functions of the job. A history of great work attendance and a sense of urgency with the ability to advance in the organization are also important. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to accurately read a tape measure required
Proficiency in operating machinery.
Attention to detail.
Ability to use power tools.
Must be able to lift 50 to 75 lbs. unassisted.
Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
Must be able to push weights greater than 150lbs with a team.
Must be able to stand for long periods.
Must have strong hand-eye coordination/Detail Oriented.
Must be able to follow instructions from Supervisor, Plant Manager and Ops Manager.
A history of great work attendance.
Sense of urgency with the ability to advance in the organization.

Inspects products for any abnormalities and notifies supervisor immediately of any issues.

Adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of the job.
Follow all company rules and policies.
