About The Position

Villa is building America's leading next-generation homebuilding platform, with a mission to be the easiest, fastest, and most cost-efficient way to build homes. Their platform offers a highly scalable new approach to offsite homebuilding, critical in solving problems facing the U.S. housing market. Villa provides end-to-end services for customers, spanning feasibility, design, permitting, and construction of high-quality homes using modern offsite construction. Villa is currently the largest ADU builder in California and is rapidly growing into other housing products and geographies. The Altadena Community Manager will represent the Villa brand to individuals impacted by the Eaton Fire. This role involves managing initial customer touchpoints, building relationships with potential customers, fostering community relationships at local events, and overseeing the launch and daily operations of the Altadena Villa Model Home. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, customer-first individual with experience in sales, local marketing, and events, eager to help a community rebuild. Candidates should be located in Los Angeles.

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of sales, real estate, or local marketing experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and face-to-face communication skills; you enjoy interacting with people in a variety of settings and have experience drafting clear communications that demonstrate attention to detail.
  • You have a passion for providing an exceptional customer experience in a friendly, professional manner.
  • High emotional intelligence - you can navigate sensitive conversations with homeowners who have lost their homes or been displaced, and be a trusted guide in their rebuilding next steps.
  • A track record of personal accountability, and a high standard of integrity and professionalism. You've demonstrated resilience and a desire to succeed in the face of new and/or unforeseen challenges.
  • Excellent organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously.
  • Team player with a strong desire to help improve internal processes.
  • A desire to learn, grow and get in on the ground floor of a company that is changing the housing industry.
  • You are able to be in-person in Altadena, CA and the surrounding areas on a daily basis, including weekends (e.g., for community events, model home tours).
  • Valid US driver's license
  • Willingness to work weekends

  • Background in homebuilding, real estate or construction sales is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Villa at a variety of local rebuilding events, town hall, and community gatherings to build brand trust and awareness.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on Villa - our value proposition, process, products, and design elements.
  • Provide consultation to customers to evaluate project feasibility and cost, and guide prospective clients through the initial decision-making process.
  • Work closely with Villa's Home Consultants to ensure a first-class customer experience throughout the customer's journey with Villa.
  • Manage every aspect of the Altadena Villa Model Home, including the tour experience, lead capture, events, and site maintenance.
  • Generate interest in Villa as a solution through community engagement, local partnerships, and proactive research and outreach for potential clients.
  • Partner with Villa's marketing team on creative ways to drive interest in Villa across the Altadena community through our events and local campaigns.
  • Utilize Salesforce to diligently track leads, tour reports, and KPIs; ensure consistent follow-up to manage customers through the pipeline.
  • Celebrate with our customers by participating in onsite milestones like delivery day and move-in day of their new home.
  • Join local internal Villa meetings and customer site visits as needed.
