About The Position

The monday.com Foundation supports communities worldwide through technology, human capital, and funding, focusing on expanding access and equipping nonprofits and communities with the tools, skills, and connections they need to move their impact forward. The organization is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Community Manager to foster a welcoming and collaborative environment for nonprofits and social organizations hosted at their offices and online. This hybrid role, requiring 3 days/week in the NYC office, involves managing daily operations, initiating and coordinating events, and optimizing spaces to support the impactful work of guests.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in events, community building, or related fields
  • Background working with nonprofits or social impact organizations
  • Proven ability to build, manage, and grow in-person communities
  • Experience launching or managing online communities (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack)
  • Skilled in designing and facilitating events, workshops, or convenings
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-directed, and takes full ownership of work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for nonprofits in the space, building strong relationships and developing a deep understanding of their needs
  • Represent the Foundation with external partners and guests, creating a strong and thoughtful experience
  • Manage and activate the online community to drive ongoing connection, resource sharing, and real-time collaboration
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the space, including scheduling and logistics, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for all hosted organizations
  • Design and host convenings that bring together the nonprofit ecosystem, fostering meaningful connections between nonprofits, funders, and partners
  • Proactively connect organizations and surface opportunities for collaboration and partnership
  • Track and measure impact across events and the online community, including engagement, connections made, and partnerships formed
  • Continuously refine programming, operations, and community engagement based on data and evolving needs
