About The Position

The Competition Center is seeking motivated and passionate coaches to support its Alpine, Freestyle, and Snowboard programs. The programs aim to help athletes excel in and enjoy their chosen sports. Coaches should be self-starters, able to multitask and communicate effectively, and eager to share their passion for snow sports with the next generation. Programs run on weekends and holidays, with opportunities to coach camps associated with other competition experiences. This is a winter seasonal position for 2026/2027, with part-time hours available. The starting pay range is $20.00 to $23.00 per hour. The position requires employees to be at least 18 years old; housing is not available.

Requirements

Be an enthusiastic team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Be able to work both as part of a team and independently toward a common goal.
Be able to ski or ride safely in all snow-surface and terrain conditions and work in harsh winter weather for prolonged periods.
Have a proven ability to positively inspire athletes of all ages and skill levels.

Nice To Haves

Prior coaching and/or racing experience.
USSS/USASA coaching certification at Level 100 or higher, or an international equivalent.
Willingness to complete relevant professional development training.

Responsibilities

Provide a safe, positive environment for athletes to develop fundamental skills and a love for the sport.
Follow seasonal and daily plans and guidelines to provide an effective training environment for athletes.
Help athletes set goals and challenge and inspire them to achieve their potential on and off the snow.
Work with the coaching team to develop training ideas and implement plans based on seasonal and competition plans.
Perform other duties as assigned.
