About The Position

As a member of the Receiving Team, you will play a crucial role in processing inbound shipments and ensuring accurate and efficient updating of assets.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least two years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or shipping/receiving roles
• Basic knowledge of inventory tracking systems
• Ability to adjust and be flexible during peak hours or based on business needs
• Support management's decisions to promote teamwork and quality standards
• Intermediate skills in MS Excel
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Physical demands may include standing, walking, sitting, and lifting
• Job duties are performed in both an office environment and a warehouse

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
• Verify, receive, and stage incoming freight
• Log any exceptions, such as missing or damaged items, at the time of receipt and unload
• Receive and reroute incoming shipments for internal customers on the same day
• Update and resolve tickets once the requested items are received
• Triage and route incoming replenishment requests to the appropriate group for handling
• Maintain an organized filing system
• Properly file any purchase order receipts, trucking bills of lading (BOL), or parcel manifests
