About The Position

The Alloyd Technician I is responsible for safely operating vacuum and pressure thermoforming machines to produce high-quality blister packaging. This role focuses on machine setup, tooling changeovers, quality control, and maintaining efficient production flow.

Requirements

• Experience operating machinery, including setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting
• Strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy hands-on work
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused
• Work well in a team environment and communicate effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience using hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
• Willingness to learn and follow technical procedures

Nice To Haves

• Experience in thermoforming, injection molding, or manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe, organized work environment
• Verify job orders, materials, and tooling meet customer specifications
• Retrieve, inspect, and prepare tooling components for production
• Perform machine changeovers and make necessary adjustments
• Fine-tune press settings to ensure high-quality output
• Record production data including setup, teardown, and quality checks
• Work closely with packers to maintain product quality standards
• Perform minor maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the thermoforming area
• Support reclaim quality checks and follow reclaim procedures
