About The Position
Operate and maintain furnaces and launder systems to ensure timely delivery of metal to the casting machines. Check temperatures and other gauges for proper working order, adjusting as necessary. Add hot metal, ingot, sows, and scrap to furnaces. Take alloy gas readings. Clean and remove oxidized aluminum from furnaces and launder system. Deliver metal to reverbs, holding furnaces, launder and casting machines.

- High school diploma or equivalent
