About The Position

VA BOM license is required. To be considered, traveler must either have the license in hand, or show proof of application in the submission. ARRT Mammo Tech Start: VCH needs the start date listed in the job order. To be considered, please update both the submission packet and the candidate's Lotus Connect profile to match this date. Duration: 13-weeks. Schedule: Monday - Friday shift 730a-4p. The Flu vaccine is required during flu season (Oct 1st - Mar 31st). If your traveler is requesting a religious or medical Flu exemption, it will be the responsibility of the agency to ensure the traveler's request complies with CMS guidelines. Qualivis will review/approve each request with supporting documentation. COVID-19 Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only. Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical Exemptions Only.

Requirements

VA BOM license is required and must be ACTIVE/IN HAND at time of submission. Travelers with pending licenses will be rejected.
BLS certification.
ARRT registry in Mammography.
Experience with 3D, screening, diagnostic mammograms required.
2 Years of Experience.
EPIC experience (statement of experience required, may test out or take 1-2 days training).
Updated/accurate interview availability.
Must have VA license verification.
Must submit with proof of application if license is pending (for IR Tech, CT Tech, etc. - not for Radiology Techs).
Must submit RTO in initial submission.
Must submit updated/accurate interview availability.

Nice To Haves

DEXA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform 3D, screening, and diagnostic mammograms.
Experience with DEXA is preferred.
Attend EPIC class (accelerated or 2-days) unless returning and previously at VHC within the past 6-months, in which case they can forgo the class.
Complete modules during orientation (up to 7 hours non-billable).
Work some holidays.
Float if required, in rotation with client staff.
