About The Position

VA BOM license is required. To be considered, traveler must either have the license in hand, or show proof of application in the submission. ARRT Mammo Tech Start: VCH needs the start date listed in the job order. To be considered, please update both the submission packet and the candidate's Lotus Connect profile to match this date. Duration: 13-weeks. Schedule: Monday - Friday shift 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. The Flu vaccine is required during flu season (Oct 1st - Mar 31st). If your traveler is requesting a religious or medical Flu exemption, it will be the responsibility of the agency to ensure the traveler's request complies with CMS guidelines. Qualivis will review/approve each request with supporting documentation. COVID-19 Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only. Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical Exemptions Only. Travelers are only permitted to submit to ONE job ID at a time. Do NOT submit to multiple job IDs. If a clinician is a previous staff member of VHC, they must wait one year before returning as a traveler. Submissions MUST INCLUDE: RTO, number of months of EPIC experience in the past 1-year, and updated/accurate interview availability. RTO must be kept to a minimum, preferably no requests for calendar week off during assignment. Any RTO must be in the initial submission and if approved, also in the confirmation document. Expect to work some holidays. RTO approved at manager discretion. All travelers MUST attend either an accelerated or 2-day EPIC class. If a traveler is returning and was previously at VHC within the past 6 months, they can forgo the EPIC class. Workers should provide a statement of EPIC experience and will either test out with one day training, or start with two days training if EPIC experience is long in the past, or otherwise minimal. Proof of license required. Travelers MUST have a VA license ACTIVE/IN HAND at time of submission. Travelers with pending licenses will be rejected. RADIOLOGY TECHS ARE THE ONLY EXCEPTION (IR Tech, CT Tech, etc.). If an IR Tech has applied for a VA license, they can submit WITH proof of application and all other supporting certs/licenses included in their submission packet. P/F Testing is only for Clin Doc accelerated class. One attempt given, if fail must take 2-day class. On-call is only for some areas like OT, IR, Cath Lab - 30 mile/30 min to campus. Floating, if required, shall be in rotation with client staff, in accordance with client policies and standards of the Joint Commission. Modules are non-billable, up to 7 hours of modules required. Modules are completed during orientation and factored in 16 hours of NBO, module hours vary based on specialty. Modules are recorded by facility training team.
