About The Position

This position will be responsible for leading day-to-day activities and strategic direction of an alliance relationship. Leverage alliance subject matter expertise and alliance performance metrics to perform analysis and contribute to strategic insights for the alliance. Serve as central point of contact for the support of the alliance including identification and inclusion of State Farm stakeholders and representing State Farm perspective and needs with the alliance partner. Build and execute against the strategic business plan.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years' experience in investment financial services back office with annuities and life insurance product knowledge and product launch experience
  • Experience navigating projects and initiatives with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Experience leading projects including creation and execution of deliverables.
  • Ability to create and execute a business plan and assess performance of the plan.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability/desire to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
  • Prior Life Insurance or Investment product experience required
  • Experience with a product launch required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree in related field preferred
  • FINRA Securities, Series 63, 65 License or ChFC certification, a plus, not required

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for relationship management activities including ongoing planning, monitoring, and reporting for the alliance.
  • Leverage performance insights, product line strategy, and alliance learnings in developing and executing alliance strategy.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for both internal and external partners for the alliance.
  • Assessment of alliance contracts for compliance, and negotiation of terms and settlement of issues.
  • Participates in key aspects of M&A business and due diligence, deal structuring and negotiating, and the internal transaction approval process.
  • Prepares and delivers reports and presentations to stakeholder audiences including agents, field leadership, and senior leadership.
  • Analyzes operational, financial, and performance trends to develop and present recommendations.
