About The Position
Full-time opportunity with a growing medical practice with locations across the CSRA and Statesboro. For the past 40 years, Augusta ENT PC has been providing a full spectrum of specialty care for people of all ages across the CSRA. With 5 offices, 16 physicians, and a variety of services Augusta ENT PC strives to help everyone feel their very best. The Allergy & Radiology Scheduler serves as a primary point of contact for patients requiring allergy testing and radiology testing as ordered by the provider. This position is responsible for coordinating appointments, reviewing orders, obtaining and/or tracking insurance benefits and prior authorizations as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer efficiency, strong data entry, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment and individually.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for an extended period of time.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with medical insurance is a plus.
- Previous experience dealing with medical insurance companies & prior authorizations.
- Experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
