About The Position
This is a full-time opportunity with Augusta ENT PC, a growing medical practice with locations across the CSRA and Statesboro. For the past 40 years, Augusta ENT PC has been providing a full spectrum of specialty care for people of all ages. With 5 offices and 16 physicians, Augusta ENT PC strives to help everyone feel their very best.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer efficiency, strong data entry, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment and individually.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for an extended period of time.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with medical insurance.
- Previous experience dealing with medical insurance companies & prior authorizations.
- Experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Trainable.
- Able to work without cellphone in hand.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a primary point of contact for patients requiring allergy testing and radiology testing as ordered by the provider.
- Coordinates appointments.
- Reviews orders.
- Obtains and/or tracks insurance benefits and prior authorizations as needed.
