About The Position

Clinic nursing is a specialized field of nursing incorporating primary, secondary, and tertiary nursing principles within a comprehensive clinic setting. Staff nurse is responsible to the Clinic Manager, Clinic Nurse Supervisor and Provider. This position will be working in the GRH ENT Clinic providing allergy services. Previous experience with allergy immunotherapy is preferred but not required. This position will include on the job training for this specialty.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Oregon RN license in good standing.
• Evidence of continuing education appropriate for skill level and areas of practice.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR) card.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, ambulate and stand for long periods throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with allergy immunotherapy.
• Three years experience in a clinic and/or community health setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide allergy services in the GRH ENT Clinic.
• Incorporate primary, secondary, and tertiary nursing principles within a comprehensive clinic setting.
• Communicate therapeutically to co-workers and providers.
• React calmly and effectively in urgent and emergent situations.
• Assist or move patients of all weight sizes in a safe manner.
• Move heavy objects or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
