Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Alignment or heavy-duty mechanical experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- State Inspection license preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Responsibilities
- Perform front- and rear-end alignments; adjust caster, camber, and toe
- Diagnose and replace components such as tie rod ends, drag links, U-bolts, and shims
- Inspect vehicles, identify worn or damaged parts, and recommend repairs
- Troubleshoot customer concerns and verify repairs through testing
- Use hand tools, tire tools, alignment machines, brake lathe, air tools, and shop equipment
- Maintain equipment and a clean, organized work area
- Document services and repairs accurately
- Follow all safety, federal, and state requirements
- Assist with other shop duties as needed
