About The Position
This is a contract-to-hire position for an Alarm Technician based in Wichita, KS. The role involves on-site work in Wichita and travel within a 40-mile radius. The company is looking for individuals with a background in skilled trades, mechanical inclination, and a customer service mindset. Previous field experience, such as cabling, wiring, or residential installations, is a significant advantage. Trainees will receive comprehensive training on ADT equipment with the ultimate goal of converting to a full-time employee of ADT.
Requirements
- Mechanically inclined.
- Customer service mindset.
- Skills in installation, alarms, cabling, Cat5, CCTV, and security systems.
- Ability to travel within a 40-mile radius of Wichita.
Nice To Haves
- Previous field experience (e.g., cabling, wiring, residential installations).
- Experience working for companies like Best Buy Geek Squad.
Responsibilities
- Install alarms and related equipment.
- Perform cabling and wiring tasks.
- Provide customer service during installations and service calls.
- Travel to customer locations within a 40-mile radius of Wichita.
