About The Position

Looking for a hands-on, reliable technician to install and service residential alarm and security systems. This is an entry-to-intermediate opportunity with full training provided — ideal for candidates who enjoy working with their hands, interacting with customers, and solving problems in the field.

Requirements

• Experience with alarm systems (Command, Safewatch preferred)
• Experience with CCTV / camera systems
• Experience with low-voltage cabling
• Strong work ethic and reliability (consistent attendance is critical)
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Valid driver’s license & reliable personal vehicle

Nice To Haves

• Cat5 / Cat6 cabling
• Honeywell systems
• IP camera installation
• Troubleshooting experience
• General construction or field service background

Responsibilities

• Install and program burglar alarm systems, CCTV (IP & analog cameras), DVRs and access control systems
• Install door/window sensors, glass break detectors, and smoke detectors
• Troubleshoot signal and equipment issues
• Test and verify system functionality
• Educate customers on system usage
• Complete job documentation and cost tracking
• Maintain vehicle inventory of tools and equipment
• Deliver excellent customer service during in-home visits
