About The Position

Under general direction of the Service Manager, this role involves servicing security systems in financial, commercial, and residential areas. This includes security alarm systems, ATM facilities, industrial gates, fire alarms, and more in and around Columbia and Jefferson City, MO. The technician will analyze malfunctions, repair or replace defective components, test equipment, and ensure all work is completed accurately and in compliance with laws and company policies. The role also requires contributing positively to the workplace environment and completing all required paperwork.

Requirements

Minimum of two years work experience.
High School Diploma or GED
Troubleshooting skills
Ability to use hand tools
Customer service skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with Bosch, Brivo, DMP, Diebold, Hamilton, Skilcraft, Ademco, CCTV, NCR ATM’s

Responsibilities

Analyzes malfunctions in equipment and replaces or repairs defective components, utilizing knowledge of equipment operation and repair.
Removes and replaces defective electronic, electrical, and mechanical components, such as circuit boards, wiring, switches, heaters using hand tools and following drawings and manufacturer’s manuals.
Tests and operates equipment to ensure that defects have been corrected.
Complies with all federal, state, and local laws applicable to position and employment generally.
Complies with all company policies, procedures, and expectations to the benefit of the organization and co-workers.
Productively and positively contributes to the company’s goal of maintaining a safe, healthy, productive, and enjoyable workplace.
Accurately completes all paperwork, including timesheets, in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned.
