About The Position

Everon is seeking Overnight/3rd Shift Monitoring Associates for an on-site position in Irving, TX. This role is crucial in protecting customers by monitoring and dispatching authorities for commercial business alarms. The Monitoring Associate will be the first point of contact when an alarm signal is received, playing a part in Everon's mission to save lives. Daily tasks include handling alarm calls, verifying activity, dispatching authorities, notifying responsible parties, documenting procedures, and providing technical support. The role also involves coaching, team meetings, and development opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience required
Technical aptitude, problem solving skills
Ability to read and interpret applicable documents, materials, policies, procedures, etc. as presented in English
Previous overnight work experience required

Nice To Haves

Some college credits; degree preferred

Responsibilities

Handling incoming alarm calls and placing outgoing calls to verify alarm activity, dispatching the proper authorities, and notifying responsible parties.
Paying attention to detail while documenting alarm handling procedures within the alarm screens.
Completing alarm processing in accordance with departmental procedures.
Providing alarm reset instructions and basic troubleshooting to customers during outbound alarm calls and inbound alarm call backs.
Receiving inbound calls related to alarm call back inquires.
Monitoring & responding to alarm signals sent by life-safety system and services and updating customer accounts.
Providing technical support and troubleshooting devices across Everon systems.
Helping customers understand the Everon noble purpose and providing customer lifestyle solutions.
