About The Position

Responsible, professional, analytical, technical and administrative work in one or more divisions of the Airport. Work involves division or departmental operational activities, conducting management studies and/or surveys, completing projects and making statistical analyses, or developing and improving systems, procedures and forms which lower operating cost and/or increase efficiency; and related work as required.

Requirements

  • A valid driver's license
  • Applicants must be eligible for coverage under the airport's auto liability insurance policy
  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of professional administrative experience.
  • Professional experience is experience gained in a position that required a Bachelor's Degree upon Entrance.
  • A Master's or other post baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Candidates must pass a personal, criminal and employment background check required by the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and the Federal Aviation Administration.
  • Must be 18 years of age for any class of work requiring hard physical labor, operation of or proximity to hazardous machinery, exposure to hazardous chemicals, or participation in any other processes or procedures which are prohibited or limited by the Louisiana State Child Labor Law.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in Urban Planning, Public Policy, Urban Studies, Business Management, Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management or related field is preferred.
  • Paralegal and budget experience is preferred for positions within the General Counsel's Office.
