Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Valid Manitoba Security License
• Have been in Canada for 5 years legally
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a stressful and fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience similar setting will be an Asset
• RAIC would be an Asset but not Mandatory

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, uniformed security supervision to ensure the safety of airport facilities, passengers, staff, and visitors.
• Oversee and conduct passenger and baggage screening procedures in accordance with airport security regulations and established protocols.
• Act as the primary liaison between airport authorities, airline representatives, and the security team to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Lead and coordinate emergency responses, including fire alarms, evacuations, medical incidents, and other critical situations.
• Review, approve, and ensure accuracy of daily activity logs, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
• Supervise and manage the daily security officer schedule, ensuring adequate staffing levels and operational coverage.
• Provide clear direction, guidance, and performance oversight to security personnel to maintain high service and compliance standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting passengers and assisting with inquiries while maintaining strict security awareness.
• Enforce airport security policies, procedures, and safety regulations while educating passengers on compliance requirements.
• Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment that promotes accountability, vigilance, and continuous improvement.
