About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Airport Security Officer in Kahului, Hawaii, at a government transportation location. This is an unarmed patrol role focused on safeguarding travelers, employees, visitors, and airport facilities. The officer conducts patrols, maintains a visible presence, supports a welcoming environment, provides customer service, communicates clearly, and uses computer or tablet tools as needed. The listed schedule is Monday and Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $26.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a valid driver’s license; the posting specifies one or more years of experience with a valid driver’s license.
Read, write, and speak English fluently.
Pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
Pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and tenants while following site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, observe vehicle and pedestrian activity, and help direct people to appropriate airport resources according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders as directed.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs according to Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
