As an Airport Security Officer: F/T Overnights in Kailua Kona, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic airport location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers, staff, and visitors. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
Valid Driver's License (+1 years)

Nice To Haves

The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established airport and government location protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, unauthorized access attempts, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and airport operations personnel.
