Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 21+ years of age
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established airport and government location protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned airport areas, terminals, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
