About The Position

As an Airport Security Officer: Part Time, Morning Shifts in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for travelers, employees, and visitors while using teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach that puts people first.

Requirements

Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
18+ years of age
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and airport personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, roadways, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Observe and report suspicious activity, unattended property, hazards, unauthorized access, and other security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established airport and government location procedures.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and authorized site representatives.
