Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers and staff. Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 21+ years of age
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an airport location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the location.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and coordinate with appropriate airport personnel and public agencies as directed.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity accurately; provide clear reports and maintain professional communication with the public and site stakeholders.
