About The Position

As a Airport Security Officer - Dispatcher in Kahului, HI , you will serve and safeguard the airport, it's facilities, travelers, and ensure the safety and security of airport operations. you’ll be the communication hub of our aviation security operations. You’ll coordinate real-time responses, monitor systems, and dispatch officers to where they’re needed most.

Requirements

Valid Driver's License
Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
Security Experience: 1+ years
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Have 1+ years of security experience.
Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
Have customer service experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, concourses, curbside areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Control access to restricted and/or employee-only areas by verifying credentials, monitoring doors and gates, and documenting access activity per post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with airport operations personnel and local public agencies as directed.
Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations and/or hazards to supervisors and site contacts in a timely manner.
