About The Position

As a Airport Security Officer - Dispatcher in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, it's facilities, travelers, and ensure the safety and security of airport operations. you’ll be the communication hub of our aviation security operations. You’ll coordinate real-time responses, monitor systems, and dispatch officers to where they’re needed most.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
• Security Experience: 1+ years
• 21+ years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, restricted access areas, and authorized credentials, and report suspicious or unusual activity per post orders.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate status updates to supervision and/or site contacts.
