As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a residential community, you will coordinate response to calls for service, monitor activity and alarms, and maintain clear communication with residents, staff, and on site officers. You will document incidents, support routine patrol coverage, and help to deter security-related concerns through a visible, service focused presence. Bring teamwork, integrity, and an agile, people first approach to every shift.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or property staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities.
  • Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service and incident reports; coordinate responses with on-site personnel, property management, and/or local emergency services as needed.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or access control systems; document activity, escalate concerns, and notify appropriate contacts based on post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; provide clear radio and/or phone communication and accurate information to responding personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, amenities, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify maintenance or hazards, and report findings per policy.
