Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• 21+ years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government aviation facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, administrative areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior or hazards through established reporting channels.
• Complete routine reports, incident reports, and daily activity logs, and communicate relevant observations to on-site leadership and/or local authorities.
