As a Airport Security Officer - Park Team in Honolulu, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a government aviation location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and public agencies as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter zones to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or operational concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas by observing pedestrian and vehicle traffic, verifying authorization when required, and directing individuals to appropriate screening and/or check-in areas per post orders.
• Document daily activities and irregularities in written reports, including incidents, observations, and response actions, and communicate timely updates to supervision and/or site representatives.
