Airport Rental Representative
About The Position
Our airport rental team is looking for a dependable, personable team member to assist customers at our rental counter. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, can stay composed in a busy travel environment, and takes pride in providing efficient, professional service. You’ll work directly with travelers throughout their rental experience, from helping them select the right rental options to assisting with vehicle returns. You’ll also work closely with other airport operations teams to help keep the rental process running smoothly. Current openings are primarily for second/swing shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 incidents or accidents within the past 3 years. Candidates under 21 must have a clean driving record.
- Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
- Must be capable of handling challenging customer situations calmly and professionally.
- Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a background check and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Previous customer service or sales experience is a plus, but we provide training.
Responsibilities
- Assist arriving and departing customers at the airport rental counter.
- Complete rental agreements, payments, and other required paperwork accurately.
- Discuss available vehicles, optional products, upgrades, and protection choices.
- Answer questions and resolve customer concerns in a professional manner.
- Assist with the vehicle return process, including reviewing vehicle condition and completing required documentation.
- Communicate with fleet and service personnel regarding vehicle availability and readiness.
- Help maintain an organized and efficient counter operation.
- Provide a welcoming experience while keeping pace during busy travel periods.
