About The Position

Unifi is seeking an Airport Ramp Agent to provide airline ground services for AeroMexico at IAD. The role supports safe aircraft and passenger operations by marshalling aircraft, handling baggage and cargo, and performing ramp and aircraft servicing duties. No experience is required, and paid training is provided.

The position involves working rotating shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Work takes place outdoors and may involve severe seasonal weather conditions. The listed schedule is part-time, on the P.M. shift, with all days of the week listed. Base pay is $17.13 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs requirements.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to frequently lift more than 70 pounds and constantly lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must be able to constantly push and pull up to 70 pounds.
• Must be able to constantly walk, stand, reach above the shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Must be able and willing to work outdoors in weather conditions that may include severe seasonal elements.

Responsibilities

• Marshall arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp.
• Perform wing-walker duties to protect aircraft wings from equipment during pushback, and de-ice aircraft as required.
• Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company material in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, or baggage carts.
• Operate ramp equipment, including bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles.
• When assigned, service aircraft, clean lavatories and cabins, and restock supplies and other items.
• Follow all safety procedures, policies, and company safety and operational standards.
• Report safety and security incidents and potential hazards immediately in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the skills, experience, and capabilities expected for the position.
