About The Position

Unifi is seeking an Airport Ramp Agent to support safe aircraft and passenger operations. The role involves marshalling aircraft, loading, unloading, sorting and transferring baggage and other cargo, and may include cleaning and servicing aircraft cabins, restocking supplies, and de-icing. Agents operate ramp equipment, conduct inspections and hazard checks, and follow company safety and operational standards. No experience is required, and paid training is provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs requirements.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to frequently lift more than 70 pounds and constantly lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must constantly push and pull up to 70 pounds and walk, stand, reach above the shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Must be able and willing to work outdoors in weather conditions that may include severe seasonal elements.

Responsibilities

• Marshall arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp.
• Perform wing walker duties to protect aircraft wings from equipment during pushback, and de-ice aircraft as required.
• Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company material to and from aircraft bins, belt loaders, and baggage carts.
• Operate ramp equipment, including bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles.
• Perform assigned cabin service duties, including servicing aircraft, cleaning lavatories and cabins, and restocking supplies.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies and complete work in a safe and secure manner according to company safety and operational standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents and potential hazards in accordance with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the expected skill, experience, and capability requirements.
