About The Position

Sodexo's Airline Lounge Segment is seeking a General Manager to join the team operating the United Club Lounge at MSP International Airport in Minneapolis, MN. This role involves creating and delivering a culinary-driven, upscale experience within a thoughtfully designed travel oasis. The ideal candidate will possess eclectic menu knowledge and upscale a la carte experience, as this is a hands-on management position requiring previous experience in upscale food production. Requirements

Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization
2-3 years experience at the Ops Mgr or AGM level with a recognized concept or company
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Professional communication skills
Passion for a high-level of customer service
Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
Working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
Working knowledge of menu graphics programs
Experience in financials, preparation and oversight
Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of management experience
Minimum 2 years of functional experience
Previous experience managing upscale food production
Eclectic menu knowledge
Upscale a la carte experience

Responsibilities

Have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product
Achieve company and client financial targets and goals
Develop and maintain client and customer relationships
Motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly) staff
Ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs
Be fully versed in Profit and Loss, inventory and fiscal responsibilities of operating a stand alone business
