About The Position

As the Airframe Structural Design Engineer - Level 4, you will be responsible for turning advanced aeronautics concepts into robust structural solutions that enable next-generation aircraft. Your responsibilities will include: Creation or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents. Contributing to the development, testing, and validation of aircraft structural designs. Assisting in the creation of system requirements, trade studies, statements of work, and test plans. Coordinating with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and interacting with external IPTs and suppliers.

Requirements

  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering
  • Experience in airframe structure design
  • Experience with CATIA V5
  • Experience with 2D Drafting and 3D modeling of detail parts, assemblies, and GD&T
  • Experience with Bill of Materials and drawing structure
  • Experience with metallic design
  • Experience with aircraft structural repairs
