About The Position

You will be the Airframe Structural Design Engineer - Level 3 for the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) which is responsible for advancing aircraft structural solutions. As the Airframe Structural Design Engineer - Level 3 you will be responsible for delivering innovative structural designs that meet rigorous performance and safety standards. This role offers the opportunity to shape cutting-edge aerospace programs and make a tangible impact on future flight capabilities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering
Experience in airframe structure design
Experience with CATIA V5
Experience with 2D Drafting and 3D modeling of detail parts, assemblies, and GD&T
Experience with Bill of Materials and drawing structure
Experience with metallic design
Experience with aircraft structural repairs
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Responsibilities

Create and modify primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
Develop, test, and validate aircraft structural designs.
Generate system requirements, conduct trade studies, draft statements of work, and prepare test plans.
Coordinate with internal Integrated Product Teams and interact with external IPTs and suppliers.
