About The Position

Yulista Integrated Solutions LLC is seeking an Airframe Sheet Metal Mechanic III for a regular position. This role involves troubleshooting aircraft malfunctions, conducting maintenance on various aircraft systems, and ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft components. The position requires a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and adherence to strict safety and quality standards. The mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment, potentially requiring overtime, and will be expected to contribute to the training of junior technicians and the maintenance of Naval Aviation programs.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of and experience performing maintenance on the following aircraft: MV22 / CV22 / CMV22
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, manuals, and specifications to determine requirements.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
  • Ability to research technical manuals and identify maintenance requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff.
  • Will also routinely interact with external contacts such as customers, vendors, suppliers, shipping companies, etc.
  • Must always represent Yulista in a professional manner.
  • Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Yulista’s goals.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
  • Experience utilizing Nalcomis / OOMA.
  • Ability to operate Portable Hydraulic Power Supply (PHPS).
  • Knowledge of aircraft composite repair practices and procedures.
  • Familiarization with Naval Aviation programs / Audit procedures.
  • Knowledge of flight control rigging procedures.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent with 5 years’ aviation experience with 2 years using military standards and specifications.
  • Ability to pass a drug and background screening.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Composite repair training preferred.
  • FAA A&P preferred.
  • Previously qualified as APU operator (V22).
  • Previously Bladefold/Wingstow qualified (V22).
  • Previously held CDQAR / QAR Inspector billet (USMC / USN).
  • 7 level (Airforce only).

Responsibilities

  • Follow guidance and direction of lead and supervision.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct hydraulic systems maintenance in accordance with approved methods.
  • Conduct removal and install of flight controls and associated components.
  • Disassemble and inspect airframe and other components for wear, cracks, security, or other defects.
  • Repair or replace defective parts then reassemble and install in aircraft.
  • Service and inspect aircraft tires and landing gear.
  • Perform jacking and towing of aircraft.
  • Maintain a high state of cleanliness and utilize a clean-as-you-go process when executing maintenance duties.
  • Utilize measuring tools such as micrometer, dial caliper, grip gauges, feeler gauge and depth gauge.
  • Perform detailed tool inventories daily.
  • Strive for efficient work effort in all assigned tasks.
  • Perform regular Foreign Object Damage (FOD) walks.
  • Comply with processes and procedures as per DHS/Department of Defense (DOD) documents and publications.
  • Comply with safety rules and regulations while performing day to day maintenance.
  • Promptly report all accidents, injuries, safety, violations, and/or unsafe practices or procedures to supervisor.
  • Conduct aircraft operational checks on external and APU power.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior technicians.
  • Assist in maintaining Naval Aviation programs.
