This role involves providing design solutions and executing detailed design for complex items based on consensus from key participants for timely engineering release. The engineer will determine corrective actions for production and field-related problems, help prepare estimates of budgets and schedules, and present and defend proposed solutions during design reviews. The position also requires preparing presentations for design reviews and possessing versatility in other disciplines of mechanical and structural design.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Knowledge of CATIA V5/V6 (v4 an advantage)
- Good understanding of manufacturing techniques & tooling for metallic and composite components including GD&T required
- Functional knowledge of French and English
- Any other combination of schooling and experience deemed equivalent may be considered.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Aerospace Structural Design an asset
