Aircraft Systems Analyst Level II
About The Position
KBR is searching for an experienced Aircraft Systems Analyst to study, design, prepare specifications, and perform services related to reliability research and analysis. The role involves working with government and contractor team members, assisting in effectively using reliability software to document analysis, and drafting reports, papers, and presentations on the results of analysis. The position also includes performing basic statistical and cost analysis, participating in team meetings and interviews, and maintaining professional working relationships. Potential candidates must demonstrate the ability to oversee the collection, sorting, and analysis of various qualitative and quantitative data, and analyze and coordinate technical data within established procedures and schedules.
Requirements
- HS Diploma (BA/BS Preferred)
- Over 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of fourth generation fighter aircraft preferably F-15, F-16
- Knowledge of aircraft mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems and support equipment
- Proficient in the use of Air Force or civilian technical manuals, policies and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels within the organization
- Knowledge of technical report writing/editing
- Experience creating meeting minutes
- Experience with briefing material preparation
- Experience creating and assisting in the development of technical documents
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software and similar database/analysis/reporting software
- Experience operating within Government-provided environments, including working on military installations and test facilities
- Familiarity with FAR 52.245-1 requirements for property accountability
- Familiarity with proper handling of Government Furnished Information (GFI) and sensitive technical data
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
